The week before Christmas

What a week this has been. Katie is in kindergarten and seeing her do all the activities that you do when your in school has been so fun. She was so excited to perform at school for all of us and she made so many little crafts and was so excited to bring them home. At Girl Scouts yesturday she made 4 little ornaments for the tree and was so proud to bring them home and hang them on our tree. She is going to be so fun this year for Christmas. She just lost her second tooth and her brother just got his 5,6, and 7th tooth. Speaking her Tyson, he still isn't crawling. He has figured out the whole rolling thing and is every where. I am grateful he isn't crawling because of the Christmas tree. He hasn't been feeling well because he is cutting so many teeth, but I think that worst is over.

I am excited to start helping in Katie's class room twice a week with writing. It was fun to be there for the Christmas party and see Katie at school. She has been learning so much. She is pretty far behind because most kids go to preschool but Katie attended the Italian Asilo so she could barely say her alphebet or count in English. But ask her in Italian!!! But, she is picking up reading quickly. The school here uses the eccelerated program so that put her even that much farther behind.

As for Jake, his job isn't going the best. People are so un personnable. It's really hard for him when people are rude. He doesn't mind the job. It's so dang easy, but the people make life so difficult. Hopefully he gets serious about training so he can get into SERE soon.

As for me, I am just the mom. Spending most the day just running errands and doing things around the house. I was called to play the piano in primary, again, and to help in boy scouts. I am not so excited about that. At All!!!!!

Well, Christmas in the hotel is going to be interesting but we can't wait to move in to our house. Mostly I can't wait to be able to go schopping for the house. I have been saving my Christmas money so I would still have some when we move it. I love shopping for my house.

Okay, this is a novel. Man, journal writting on the computer is so much easier.
