Life always throws bricks at you when you are already carrying a full load, but would you like to be able to reflect on those bricks when your arms are empty? At times I think yes, and sometimes I just wish I could forget and move on.
I've decided that hiding under a rock works for a time but life still goes on and things don't get better on there own. That doesn't mean I'm ready to crawl out or to stop putting on this wonderful fake smile I have become best friends with.
With how many pressures we feel everyday to be perfect it is no wonder that we each fail on a regular basis. Not very many things in life go the way we want it too. The phrase be careful what you pray for is so true. I am just comforted knowing that the Lord sees the big picture and his promises to us are more important then our failures.
We can overcome ANYTHING we feel is worth it, no matter the time or energy it takes to walk out of it with our heads held high and our hearts mended.
I love thinking that while we were all in heaven, sitting in a circle, passing around a hat with tiny slips of paper, each one stating a life challenge, we we excited and ready for it!!! I have to stay positive and believe that this too shall pass.
I am extremely grateful for the love and support of my friends and family, even when that love and support has been through space and blindness. The dreaded "How are you?" question only gets one answer these days.....been better, but please don't ask, just support.
So, to all of you that may feel the need to make everything better, you can't. But I truly love that you want to.
We all go through stages where we feel everyone has so many challenges and we are so blessed and then life knocks on your door and you can't seem to see problems in any one's life but your own and you ask yourself why. I love being able to serve others and to support everyone in there time of need. So, thanks for having problems of your own so I can focus my energy elsewhere.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone and I truly hope that we all reflect the love and support our mother's give to us. I am thankful to be a mother and to have the opportunity to love and serve my children.
