It's Been A While

Wow how time slips past me. I can't believe that I have been in Montana for almost 5 months.

We celebrated Tyson's 1st birthday yesterday with my mom and dad, and brothers here. It was fun to have visitors. They were the first ones to come here and see our house and Montana. They can't figure out why anyone would live here, but I tried to tell them this was the worst storm I have seen so far. It took them 16.5 hours to get here because of the snow. I am sure thankful for them coming and for the safety they received.

I am getting ready for surgery again on the 9Th. Hopefully this is the last one for a long time. I am ready to be healed and able to do whatever I want. It will be at least 4 months before I'm able to get back to a semi-normal life but I look forward to it.

Jake is finished with ALS and back to his normal work schedule, which is anything but normal. He was up for 36 hours yesterday and today will sleep till her goes to work at 11 pm. It's a hard schedule for us but we pray everyday it will change or that we will be able to adjust better.

Katie finally went back to school after spring break. She loves school and is doing great. She loves her teacher and looks forward to moving to first grade with her. They are on the accelerated curriculum and she began her 1st grade work this week. I hope she can keep up. Italy put her pretty far behind, in some things.

I am going to try and keep my blog up better and figure out how to post pictures.

Aww Happy Birthday Tyson!!!! I would ask why there wasn't any pictures posted of this great moment, but you answered that at the end of your post! I hope that you are recovering quickly and feeling great. I too have the goal of keeping up with my blog, so good luck to us both! :)
