Some of you have heard already, but Jake is headed to Kuwait in September, possibly July.
We are preparing ourselves but are still sorta hoping for a false alarm. But, at least he is not going back to Iraq this time.
This deployment will be much harder then that last because:
- He will miss Thanksgiving
- He will miss Christmas
- He will be gone for possibly 6 months, instead of 4
- He will miss so much of Tyson growing up
- He will miss shoveling the snow from the walks
- He will miss Katie starting 1st Grade
- He won't make as much money
- He won't have a desk to call me from
- He will be living in a tent
- He won't get to wake up to me everyday!!!!!
We will keep you posted on all the details as they unfold, but don't hold your breath, this is the military and things are only dropped on a need to know basis. They haven't figured out yet that I NEED to know everything!!!
