Katie's Castle and School Program

Kami and I had a great time helping Katie make her castle for school. She had to make a castle that included a square, circle, rectangle, diamond, triangle, cube, rectangular prism, cone, and a sphere. Kami and the idea to make it with rice crispies and then we decided to do it all out of food. It was really fun. We even melted white spice drops and dyed them blue for the lake in the front, and dyed coconut for the grass. It was fun and Katie was so excited to take it to school.

Today we went to lunch with Katie at school. Man, eating fish sticks and drinking milk from a carton sure isn't much fun. Plus, I'm pretty sure that the school lunch tables got a lot smaller then they used to be!!!!

I'm going to try and post a littler video clip of Katie's school program. It was so fun. They learned 8 songs to sing to mom's and dad's for Mother's and Father's Day. They were so excited. They made all the dad's ties and the mom's really big hats. They were so excited to give them to us and believe me, I was so excited to wear the hat!!!

She looks a little scary, but this is a good picture of the hat and tie sche made for us.
