Family Fun

Yesterday we took a little trip out to the back 40 here on base and a road was blocked by a fallen tree. So, being who he is, Jake jumped out, chopped it up, drug the rest of the road and loaded up the Jimmy with firewood. We took it home and made a nice fire in the backyard. We roasted hot dogs and made smores for dinner. Our Yummy smore plate!!!!

A couple weekends ago we took the kids to the big hill on base for some sledding. Well, I watched from the car. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Katie was in heaven. Some friends were there also with sleds that they sprayed WD40 on the bottom. Katie traded there boy for her sled and was jumping snow hills and catching air. It was fun. Tyson wanted to have as much fun but the cold weather is a big factor for him. He's just like his mommy!
