Katie has had an extremely loose tooth for weeks. Actually, three months ago the dentist said it should be out really soon. Katie has had a hard time parting with it but we finally got it.
For a couple days it was so loose that you could see space underneath it when she would use to tongue to pull it back. It was so gross!!! Anyway, her dad was worried about it getting infected so he said it comes out by Monday or the dentist gets to take it. I added that if the dentist pulls it then we use the tooth fairy money to pay the dentist. Not an idea Katie liked.
So, after extreme coaching by me and our friends. Along with dentist floss and tissue, she finally pulled it out by herself around 7PM on Sunday night. She was so excited. Our friends were so great and gave her little prizes and took tons of pictures.
To top it off, Jake called that night so she was able to tell him all about it!
