Tyson was a little concerned about what was going on but after a bit he loosened up. I worked so hard on these costumes. I made Tyson's all by myself. His costumes is complete with joints and shoe covers. It was so hard but it turned out so dang cute.
I throw together a costume for me as Glenda the Good Witch. The costumes would have been cuter if it was on someone a little smaller. I was just a big pink ball. Anyway, we got the award for the cutest family at our Trunk-or-Treat activity tonight.
Here are some close ups of Tyson's Costume.
My friend and I put together the whole theme for the trunk-or-treat. I had the idea but I'm not so good at actually pulling it off. Shannon really gets things done. It would have been a lot easier if either of us had a husband with us to either put the car together or chase after kids. Anyway, we made the Emerald City Gates in the back of the van and had a yellow brick road leading up to it and had some fun wizard of oz music playing. Shannon had this funny doorbell for it also. It was so cute. Shannon did a lot of work on it and I mostly, well, not really sure what I did. It turned out cute and when the kids came up we handed the candy to them through the door.
Well, our activity only lasted about 2 hours but I am exhausted. I think it felt like 12!!! The kids were cold, tired, and my foot hurt really bad. Brilliant me tried to skip down the yellow brick road with a boot on. Not the easiest, or smartest thing to do. I'll pay for it tomorrow I'm sure.
